COMPANY HISTORY
Our Story
Our story has small beginnings that grew bigger than we could have imagined. We started out with the idea to earn some extra money by doing small landscaping jobs here and there. However, we eventually grew and found purpose in not just earning money but creating opportunities for our customers and being an important part of our community. Now, we have built a company we’re truly proud of and will continue to carry on the good work we do.
Our Major Milestones
It was a big accomplishment for our small business to open our first retail location in 2014. Eventually, our business grew rapidly, and we were delighted to open a second location in 2015. By 2018, we combined the two locations into a new facility so we could better serve our customers and work more efficiently to meet the new challenges ahead of us with ease.

Our Mission
Our mission is, first and foremost, to help our customers. It is a commitment that we take seriously to benefit not just us but also our customers and community. We strive to create a company and culture that honors God, attracts top talent, and encourages personal and professional growth. We also value our amazing team that helps us do our amazing work. We always allow our team to excel and advance in our company and the green industry if they choose to do so. We aren’t just a company, we’re a strong, tight-knit unit of family and friends who look out for each other.

By following our core values, we ensure nobody gets left behind and that every job is done well. With resilience and our desire to achieve excellence, we always exceed our customers’ expectations. By taking accountability and having faith in our team, we know we can always count on them to do their best.
Our Team
We are very proud of our team and would love to give a quick shoutout to some amazing team members to show our appreciation for their hard work and talents.
Robert has been with us since 2023 and has played a key role in bringing systems, order, and accountability to the company. Robert previously worked in the construction and banking industries and brings knowledge in systems, leadership, organization, and more.
Samantha started with us in 2024 and has been vital to the customer experience. She handles most of the calls coming in, marketing, admin functions, and whatever else we throw at her!
Brian has been with us since 2012 and is a key team member in the field. He has a vast knowledge of everything we do here at Perfection.
Caleb began as Sales Manager in 2024 and is also the outside manager at our retail location. He has grown up in the business and is able to help clients with innovative solutions to their outdoor problems.

Lawn Care
By sticking to our sense of professionalism, integrity, and quality, we provide lawn care that will leave our customers satisfied. We don’t have a “mow and blow” attitude. We believe in providing services that are always of the highest quality and are environmentally friendly. From properly disposing of grass clippings to using products that don’t harm the environment, you can count on us to provide you with a green lawn without negatively impacting the local flora and fauna.
Landscaping
Our landscaping jobs are always performed with the utmost care. We ensure that we work within the unique vision of each of our clients, from the initial design to the last weed pulled. We also make an effort to provide a landscape that benefits the local ecosystem; from planting native plants, trees, and shrubs to installing gardens that promote the health of pollinators like bees and butterflies, you’ll get an idyllic, beautiful outdoor living space you’ll love!
Community Involvement/Social Responsibility
We Value Our Customers
We value our customers and don’t just say it; we show it! It’s a joy to host our annual Customer Appreciation event every year. Every November, we bring in jolly Old St. Nick and serve hot chocolate, cookies, and punch for our community. We understand how important it is to maintain the connections we’ve made and show our customers that we truly care. It is always a pleasure to host this event and it is a way to celebrate the strong community spirit and continue to keep it alive and well.
We also take great pride in helping the children in our community by sponsoring the local FFA Chapter and Muhlenberg County High School Football team. We believe that it is our job to encourage and support the kids in our community and provide them with activities and opportunities that will help them succeed in their goals.
Our Community Involvement
Our purpose and Christian duty is to provide aid to those who need it. We understand how important it is and are committed to doing our part. We donated labor and materials to the local 911 dispatch center when the county installed a Safe Haven baby box. We know how important and precious each human life is, and if there is anything we can do to help, we won’t hesitate to do so. It is a great honor to provide our skills, time, and energy to a noble cause that will help our caring community.
Awards and Recognition
Small Business of the Year
We are committed to providing excellent service and always going above and beyond. Through our efforts and hard work, we were awarded the Small Business of the Year award in 2014 from the Muhlenberg County Chamber of Commerce. It is a huge honor, and we’re proud that our amazing team made it happen!
The Belgards Awards: Winners of 2025 for the Best Curb Appeal
“The Belgards” are an annual competition for hardscape professionals in the southwest region that recognizes creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication in residential and commercial hardscape design. As of January 2025, we are overjoyed to have been awarded for our hard work and dedication with the Best Curb Appeal from The Belgards.
We consider it a big deal since we were the chosen winners out of 179 submissions. Even more good news to share: we are now Master Craftsman certified by The Belgards due to our amazing team’s hard work and dedication! We will continue to do our best and strive to uphold our core values for all of our clients.
